At Barrel & Brae, our foundation and experience originates from trade sales within the Scotch whisky industry. With over a decade of combined experience, our team has sourced, sold and brokered more than a thousand casks, each successfully transferred to trade clients through formal delivery orders issued at warehouses across Scotland.
Our clients include a broad range of independent bottlers, whisky brokers, and cask suppliers, all of whom rely on us for consistency and access to stock at genuinely wholesale prices.

Thanks to the strong relationships and trusted partnerships we’ve built over the years, Barrel & Brae enjoys unrivalled access to casks across the industry. From bulk new-make spirit available at entry level prices, to old and rare casks that are increasingly difficult to source.
Warehouse Network & Logistics
We have direct connections with over 23 warehouses throughout Scotland, allowing us to issue delivery orders directly at these bonded facilities.
If a trade client wishes to purchase a cask from our stock list that is held at a warehouse where they do not currently have an account, Barrel & Brae will handle the full logistics. We coordinate with trusted haulier partners to arrange the secure movement of casks under movement guarantee, ensuring a seamless transfer to a warehouse where we both hold accounts.
Once the cask has been received and verified, a delivery order is issued promptly to transfer legal ownership to the client.
All movement and transport costs for trade clients are charged at cost price, with no additional margin added.
